Post Pages Don’t Render Shortcodes

    I’d love to use this plugin, but I’m having an issue where on Post Pages, shortcodes placed within the widget area of my website are coming up as raw text.

    However, on normal pages *non-post*, like say Homepage? shortcodes placed within the randomizer appear normally.

    This could be a theme related issue, but if anyone wants to replicate my issue..

    Download WP Window Shopper and try to use it with Datafeed to display random sidebar ads. Both plugins are free, but you may notice it only working on Pages, not posts.

    Otherwise this is a solid plugin.

    Did you already check the “Enable shortcodes in Text Widgets:” option here WordPress Admin Area > Settings > Ads?

    Yes, I checked that on, toggled off and on again, and even disabled/re-enabled the plugin. It doesn’t seem to work on any of my post pages. Could be a template related issue..

    That’s really strange… Can you preview your site using another theme to see if the shortcode works? That will rule in/out the theme being the issue.
