Post Rating / LearnPress Conflict

I’m not familiar with the LearnPress plugin but I had a quick look. So, the problem is that on the front end lessons are custom post types of lp_course and therefore when you rate lessons you also rate a course – they are all the same post. Hence, the course results are also shown on lessons pages. I see that somebody had a similar questions in LearnPress support forum: https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/custom-field-on-lessons-using-acf/

Does the LearnPress plugin maybe have a function to retrieve lesson post id? This would be the smoothest solution ??

Likely I can get the lesson ID in the template with PHP – if so does your plugin have a function that I can call and pass that ID to?

at the moment unfortunately not. I looked a bit more into it and I was not able to get lesson post id in the template. The key here is to figure out how to determine that the current item is a lesson and how to get the lesson id. As LearnPress has a lot of users I would of course like to ensure the compatibility. I’ll look a bit more into this when I start on the next version but please do let me know if you figure anything out.
