Post Reverted when Uploading Image

  • I was uploading an image to my post as I was typing. As soon as the image was finished uploaded, and after I inserted the image into the post, I quickly resume my writing.

    To my surprise, the post was reverted back to a few revisions prior to the image upload and has been automatically saved.

    I lost 70% of what I have written and there’s no way I could retrieve the stuff I have written prior to the automated save by WordPress.

    I’ve been using WordPress for the past 2 years, and this is the first time I encountered such a problem.

    Am I the only one facing such a weird problem?
