    Hi,

    I have AWS set to integrate with the default search results. With this setting on I can’t seem to search for site content other than products. Is there a way to make a separate search bar independent of AWS?

    Hi,

    So, as I understand, you are using the ‘Seamless integration’ option. This option replaces all your default search forms with the plugin ones.

    Instead of this option you can add plugin search form by using shortcode or widget. More details you can find here.

    Thanks, that did work but is there a way to get advanced woo search into the primary menu without using the seamless integration?

    All depends on your current theme. Perhaps it has a widget area for the header to add search form widget. In other cases you need to manually place search form shortcode or php function to the needed place of your site.
