I am posting again to put this back at the top of the list. I would really appreciate any help. I don’t understand why querying by category would make the entry look different than querying any other way.

This is my portfolio that’s due on Friday for my graduation. I would really, really appreciate anyone looking at this for me and giving me any ideas ?? Thanks so much in advance

i looked and dont see what you are describing, so you need to be more help.

    what browser, what version?

then how about a link to a page that exhibits what you are describing?

    I looked at this:

    https://weblacquer.com/?p=3

compared it to your front page, etc.. (I see images in the post, for example)

you know what you expect to see, we dont, so give us urls, and be specific about whats missing, etc..

I do notice a slight difference when viewing the Web Development category in that the second paragraph shows: “JusticeWorksYouthCare.com should represent […]” as opposed to the complete paragraph when initially going to the site. Looks like maybe excerpts are being used when viewing the category.

I only see the images when I view the complete post.. which works no matter how I view the full post.

    Sorry for the vagueness.

Example A: How it should be, viewed by month (the right way)
    https://weblacquer.com/?m=200812

Example B: How it is, viewed by category (the wrong way)
    https://weblacquer.com/?m=200812

I am viewing in the latest versions of FireFox and Safari for Mac Leopard.

When viewing by category, it looks as though an excerpt is used but alas, no excerpt is being used. Also, like you said, MarkRH, the image isn’t showing up. I can’t figure out why this is happening only when it is being viewed by category.

Again, thank you for any help or ideas

yah, i should have read better, my bad. you did say categories.

GOT IT. I had a weird conditional in there that I forgot I added. Thank you so much for taking a look.

yes, my bad, I should have read better, you did say it was the category view.

Looks like you’ve modified the post with a more tag. It looks the same when viewing via category, month, or front page. I then see the pictures when viewing the full post.

community updated by being able to add to a blog.

Not sure if you meant to do this, but when clicking on the images (presumably to show a full-size image), they just link to the same post.
