post-sitemap.xml is empty!

I noticed, that my sitemap is no longer created in the right way: but I have change none of the settings of WP SEO.
All sitemaps are created in the right way, but only the post-sitemap.xml is completely empty…
A google search has not helped me so far!
Recently I have installed W3 Total cache – so to check the sitemaps – I have completely disabled W3 TC – but still the post-sitemap.xml will not be created in the right way?
Is there any way to debug this wrong behaviour? Are there any temporary files on the server, which can be checked to analyse the process of sitemap creation?
