Post Slider WD doesn’t respect sticky posts?

    Is it true that the post slider doesn’t keep a sticky post in the first slide position, even if the post has been set to be sticky? If so, please consider this a no-brainer feature request. Otherwise very happy with the plugin. Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Hi @piantadosi!

    Please, be informed that you can use the “Start with slide” option to start the slider with the specified slide.
    You can find the option in the Global tab of the settings of the Slider wd plugin.

    Yes, thanks, but this slider is set to display dynamic post slides, so how does it determine (or how do I know) which slide is No. 1? There is no static list of slides, since it is updated dynamically from the posts in the specified category.

    Plus you didn’t really answer the question — does the slider respect the sticky post setting or not? I’m guessing not.

    Unfortunately, in the case of the dynamic slider sticky post option will not be applicable.
