Post slug for post by e-mail with P2 theme

  • The P2 theme is a single field, so there isn’t a title. The post slug is generated as a truncated version of the post body.

    When I post by e-mail, there are two behaviours:

    (a) I send an e-mail with a subject line, which becomes a title (showing up as headline text amongst the other posts entered via a browser) and a post slug; or

    (b) I send an e-mail without a subject line, which then produces a slug with an ID number.

    Is there a way to get the same behaviour when posting by email as when posting by browser with the P2 theme? Is this working as designed?
