• Hi all:

Is there a way to have a blog that is available to a registered group to read all posts, but that is not available for others to read who are not registered?

I am setting up a reunion blog, and want to have this option. The choice for post status – private or public – I thought would work, but the private posts only go to me, not to other registered posters.

Let me know if there is a way to set it up this way,

    thanks,

  • Look for the Category Access plugin. It lets you do what you want. You can specify the categories that the public can read (could be none), and then the categories that new signups (subscribers) can read, and then people above subscriber can read everything, except I think you edit that on a user by user basis.

Here’s the page you download it from. Scroll right to the bottom.

Thank you! I will try this out.
