post summary

  • Hi, WP expert people!

    I am new to WP and cannot obtain to display only few lines of the long post text, followed by the <more> indication.

    Can somedy help me?

  • When writing your post there is a little button in the editor to add the more link. It looks like two pages separated by a dotted line. Just move your cursor to where you want the post to be separated and click this button.

    When you write a post there is a “more” button. Use it: insert the more-link where you want to break the text.
