Post Summary on Homepage

Okay, so I have a static page on my home page and I am trying to get a short summary of each post I make to show up under my static page on the homepage. I would like the title to clickable so the visitor can go to the post page.

1. I have tried evermore but nothing seems to happen on my site.

2. I have no clue when it come to code stuff but I can learn but need easy step by step help if possible.

How can I do this?
