The font color in paragraph blocks in posts is not as expected according to my selected settings. I have set the font color as pure black (#000000) in paragraph blocks in posts, and yet it is still showing as a gray color, which was the original text color in the startupzy theme.

I have set all the default color settings for paragraph block text to black that I can find. For example:
    – the text color for each paragraph block in the post.
    – the body text color in “global style extended”
    – the color palette and text color in the “paragraph” block setting in the editor as shown here: https://gutenverse.com/docs/how-to-use-global-styles/
    – the “post content” block in the “single” template

As a result of changes the above color settings, the font color in paragraph blocks in pages correctly shows as black. But it is still gray in posts.

For example, compare the text color between this page and this post:
    https://neutrons.ca/about/
    https://neutrons.ca/2022/12/07/neutrons-canada-launched/

I have tried creating new posts and new pages. Although the color defaults to black in pages, it still defaults to gray in posts, and I cannot override the default to make it black.

    Wordpress version: 6.1.1
    Gutenverse 1.7.0
    Theme: Startupzy 1.1.0

    Hi @danielbanks

The text color on your posts has set to black. Is there still any problem on your side?

I notice you change the color through the paragraph color setting in post editor, because it has classes with “has-” prefix.

Thank you, Pradnya. You are correct that the font is actually black. I was mistaken. On my screen, the font on my posts appeared gray compared to the font on the pages. Because you showed me that I was wrong, I was able to find the real explanation. The difference was the font weight. The black font with a light weight (300) against a white background appeared as gray on the screen. When I changed the weight to 400, this issue disappears, and it appears as black as the text on the pages.
