Post text disappeared after 3.3.8 update :(

  • So now there is a featured image but magically all the text from my posts are gone. Thanks goodness this wasn’t a live site ?? Can I get some assistance with this please, why did the content of my articles disappear after the update?

    I am unable to replicate your issue.

    You can get your web hosting company to check your server error log for PHP error and troubleshoot accordingly.

    Or check for plugin conflict by using the following steps.

    1) If you are using a server cache or cache plugin, please clear it’s cache content and disable caching via it’s settings.

    2) Proceed to disable one plugin at a time, clear browser history and re-visit your content. Check if it’s working properly.

    Do this until you find the plugin that’s causing this issue, please replace with an alternative plugin.

    I deactivated all plugins at once and tried it and still no text in the articles except the title.

    I reverted the theme version to 3.3.6 and text was working again but of course then there is no featured image. So then I proceeded to perform the 3.3.9 update and the article text disappears again ??
