Post text not showing up on pages

  • I am new to wordpress so maybe there is a simple fix but while building my page with this theme my text isn’t showing up on any of the pages. It works on the front page but nowhere else. It will show images but if I type anything else in the post and update, nothing shows. I’ve switched themes to the twenty sixteen and the posts are showing up. What am I missing?

    @amoore819 Can you please let us know your site address? Are you trying to display a static post as your frontpage?

    My site address is https://www.addsomebounce.com. My front page is working fine. I have the slider and the advanced text widget on there and those are both working as they should be. My contact page won’t display any text and I have an about page that has an image that is working but no text displaying. My portfolio page has a plugin that is working just fine.

    Also, at random my site kind of shuts down. I get 404 errors when I click on anything. I went through some troubleshooting with my web host and they told me to change the theme bc that may be the problem. Not sure if it’s related at all. Anyway, I love the theme and I don’t want to change it so I’m hoping to make it work.
