Post text under Affix Widget

  • I have an odd problem, when I create new posts with content copied in from a website, the text comes up underneath the Widget. I am using the latest Wp-Knowledgebase with the Affix widget. I have no other Widgets enabled on the sidebar.

    The widget scrolls with the text, so it is sticky, but the Widget sits on top of the text within the post. I have deleted the theme and re-installed, deleted the post and re-created with the same problem.

    The page header and footer are the correct width so that side looks correct, its the post content that is wider than it should be.

    Playing around a bit more I have proved that if I manually type a post it works as expected, with everything looking OK. If I copy text from a website paste into notepad, and then paste from notepad into an article it works as expected, albeit with all formatting removed. So there is something odd in the copy from the website I am coming from.

    Any ideas?

  • When you paste, try to right-click > paste as plain text. Or, instead of pasting into the visual editor, paste into the text editor.
