• After installing the plugin ‘Post Thumb Revisited’ I get every time ‘default image’ instead of the proper thumbnail even if the post has several images.

I’ve checked everything and have no idea what the problem could be…
I tested the plugin both on ver. 2.2.1.b and 2.3. The problem is always the same.

Has anyone any idea how to resolve the problem? I really like the idea of this plugin… (PHP ver. on my server is 5.1.2)

    Greetings,

    Asys

  • You and me both asystentka28… I have the plugin up and running locally, but not at the site over at Dreamhost (in Dutch by the way). My theory is that, for whatever reason, the plugin can’t detect images in the posts. As for a fix, I have yet to find one.

I have done some more messing around and discovered the following:

The plugin is only generating thumbnails for images in posts that are uploaded to WordPress. Most of my images are offsite at Flickr, etc. These are not thumbnail-ified.

I have now tested this plugin on two separate WordPress 2.6.1 installs, hosted at two different DreamHost accounts. Both have the same issue.

In an exact local copy of one of these sites, running on my own machine, the issue is not present, the plugin generates thumbnails for all images, including the ones at Flickr.

I have tried several versions of this plugin, I am now using the last dev version (2.3 or 412).
