Post Thumbnail Crops Main Image Too…

  • I am thoroughly impressed with the plugin, although when intending to change only the thumbnail images, the plugin resizes the main image to that of the cropped. I only toggled the settings for those which were square in dimension and had thumbnail in the title.

    Could someone point towards which setting I may be flagging in error?

    It’s probably not the main image, but is probably the post-thumbnail that your theme is using as the main image… I’m not saying it’s impossible, but it is highly highly improbable that the original image is getting resized.

    I would try selecting only one thumbnail at a time until you find which one is your ‘main’ image (if that’s what it is) in order to see if you can track it down.

    Also, you can enable debugging and then view the log to see which thumbnails are being saved and where.
