Post thumbnails

Would that just be in the widget output?

I’d like to see this too (in the widget output).

Seeing as the plugin author is going on vacation (enjoy!), I’ve just modified the plugin’s source code (I know, I know):

<?php the_post_thumbnail('small-thumb'); ?> for the widget

<?php the_post_thumbnail('small-thumb'); ?> for the shortcode

Pick whatever thumbnail size you want, of course.

For those like me who didn’t use to set a featured image, and are wondering how the heck assign those 450 posts a featured image, you can do it using the great Auto Post Thumbs plugin. It will do the trick and this widget will look awesome then.
