Post thumbnails in left sidebar widget

Hi guys,

I notice that the preview screenshot has the post widget on the left with small thumbnails on each post.

I found the tickbox in the sidebar widget to enable pictures in the post previews, but when I tick this, I end up with large images instead of tiny thumbnails.

Can anyone tell me how to get those little pics like those in the screenshot?
