    How can I edit the format of my title in Gutenberg? I need my title to have some words in italics and some other words in bold. Currently publishers use html tags, but that causes human errors. There is a way to edit the title format by gutenber? Or some walkaround?

    Currently publishers use html tags, but that causes human errors.

    There is no other way to get formatting than HTML tags, because CSS has no way to distinguish individual words without them.

    Sometimes publishers mistakenly do this: <b> title <b> another part of the title.
    This causes to change the entire format forward. Is there a way to auto close open tags by mistake in the loop?

    You can write a filter for the post title (when saving) that checks for unbalanced tags. Or if you want to do it on output, filter the_title.
