    Hi there,
Love the plugin and it’s something that WordPress should have added to its core.

I do have one little problem with it. I’ve got a post that has the “Post title in widget” to have a shorter title utilized in the post navigation box, but it seems to be ignored. I’ve tried erasing the post title in widget, updating and then repopulating it. It’s always using the post’s title. How do I force it to use the short title?

  • the usage as you described is not the intended purpose of this feature. However, you’re not alone in assuming it should work like this so we’re hoping to implement some changes in a future release.

Sounds good. What is the intended purpose of that feature then?

Any idea on when you’re looking to implement the new fuctionality?

the “post title in widget” field is intended for the series widget available via the “Appearance/Widgets” WordPress menu, not the list of posts in the series table of contents embedded with the post content.

    Gotcha. Thanks

Any idea on when you’re looking to implement the new functionality to mirror the widgets short titles in the list of posts in the series table of contents embedded within the post(s)?

it’s something on the potential feature list. But cannot give an ETA on it. Don’t expect anytime soon, we’re currently swamped with client work.
