post title limited to 40 characters in widgets

    Hi,

    in my theme, whatever widget i use to display posts, all title posts are limited to 40 characters max.

    How can i remove this limitation ?
    Is it something locally set in theme or in wordpress ?
    i’ve never seen that before.
