Post title not mapping when file upload is used

    I have set up a form that maps a student-name field to the post title. This works as expected. However, when I set up another form which includes a file upload, the name field (for example staff-name) will not map to the post title. The post title is CF7 2 Post instead. I’ve tried this several times with different field names and IDs each time, and the same happens every time. A file upload feature seems to prevent a field mapping to the post title.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    sorry to hear of your troubles. It is possible there is a bug ??

    A file upload feature seems to prevent a field mapping to the post title.

    Can you run a couple more tests in your environment. Can you setup a 2nd form with just a file upload and a text field mapped to the title to see if yuo an repeat the error?

    I’ve run several more tests and the same thing happens each time.

    As you suggested, I set up a new form with just one text field (mapped to the post title), and one file upload, and the title mapping doesn’t work.

    I also set up another new form, with just one text field (mapped to the title again), and no other fields, and the text field mapped to the post title correctly.

    Adding to this thread. I’m experiencing the same issue.

    When I have a file upload field and map it as the featured image, the Post title will just default to “CF7 2 Post”

    When the featured image isn’t mapped to the upload field, the Post title will take whatever field I map to it.
