Post title template not working

For the current setup in my Titles and Meta section of Yoast SEO I have my post title template set to “%%title%%” and only that. However, when I search for a specific post of mine in Google the format of the SEO title is %%title%% plus my site’s name, which is Eargrub. I’ve tried everything under the sun to only display the title and I’m lost. My site is located at https://www.eargrub.com if anyone can help me.
I’ve tried cycling force rewrite titles on and off to no avail. Help!
