Post Titles

I am having issues with the featured slider because of the size of the images you need to use. I decided to create my own front page with a slider that links to my blog posts instead where I can use images that are different to the ones I’ve set as my featured images in the posts.

My question is – if I now am showing my front page as a static page and not blog posts, and my blog posts are linked on a separate page, how do I get the post title to show? It currently shows the featured image, an excerpt, the date, and author, but the post title is not there.
