    @mike_x_ – I’m not really clear what you mean by “filmstrip” … would you be referring to one of our Pro displays such as:

    Thank you for your answer!
    Don’t bother with the filmstrip. it is one of the effects of nextGen pro as i see in the demo. (the one with the big photo and the thumbnails below).

    My real problem is if i can retrieve a post’s attachments and show then in nextGen.

    So i dont want to place a shortcode in each post. But only php in the template file.

    @mike_x_ – Are you wanting to query the post’s attachments (for images obviously) and then create a new NextGEN Gallery from those images which you want to then display in a NextGEN Gallery display type?

    Yes i want to place in my post.php a line of code that will dynamically get the post attachments (images) and show them as nextGEN.

    @mike_x_ – This may be possible but could be quite involved to accomplish … do you have a link, such as a pastebin or gist, to anything you have already been trying to get working?
