    Hi,

I upgraded WordPress to 4.2 and CPT UI to 1.0.7 — and after doing this, the “Pages” section in the admin no longer shows any pages. We have 390 pages – it says 390 pages at the top – but despite that it says “no pages to show” in the list. Disabling CPT UI fixes that.

I followed your instructions – “refreshed” permalinks; clicked “edit” for each post type and taxonomy in CPT UI; but to no avail.

Any idea what is causing this?

It’s quite urgent, so I would really appreciate assistance.

    Thanks,

    Bira

That is a very odd case if it’s affecting the default page post type, as we shouldn’t be doing anything to them, nor doing any query altering to prevent results.

You can revert to the previous version if necessary. Not sure if you’d be reverting to 0.9.x or to a previous point release from the 1.0.x line.

I’m willing to try and debug what’s going on, but I’m at a loss at the exact moment.

    Hi Michael,

I actually no longer think CPT UI is the culprit – but rather one of the custom taxonomies registered via CPT UI (which is why disabling the plugin “solved” the issue). Upgrading to WordPress 4.2 seems to have caused the issue with that taxonomy.

It is a bit of a wonder why that taxonomy had any effect on post type pages at all, but that’s another story altogether and most certainly not for you to worry about ??

Thank you for responding and apologies for the alarm.

    Best,

    Bira
