    Hi, I want to use a custom post type as podcasts, so I’ve checked the Post Type Podcasting option and configured it, but the PowerPress meta box still not being displayed in my custom post type edit page. Can you help me? I’m missing something?

    A better way to a podcast from a post type is to enable Podcast Channels and then edit the default channel in the “other” menu. Assign the post type to the channel. This will allow you to use the Main PowerPress settings and still post in the post type.

    It also shoudl show you the podcast episode box. If you are using classic editor, check the screen options page. If you are using block editor, look on the right sidebar. Sometimes it moves it there and it’s not useable. You can pull it do blelow the post in the editor.

    Hey Mike,

    Thanks for your fast answer. I’ve tried that but without success. Any chance something else can be the problem?

    I get it! I don’t know what happened, but I:
    – Deleted the podcast channel that was created (then it was recreated);
    – Went to podcast channel > other and set my custom post type;

    Thanks!
