• Hi.

I am new to WordPress and all of this.

Great plugin you have made. Very impressed by the features.

However, some of the features are not working on my side.

For example, the Post (Type) Featured block is not working on my side.

It looks fine in the editor. However, it is empty when opened in real. It is somehow not loading in the site side. I have shared the link to the page below.

There is one more issue. When I use post type to for normal grid based posts. The grids do not appear at all. The posts appear directly – in big size, without any grid. However, the above issue needs to be resolved first though.

It must be mentioned, I tried other features of Gutentor but they seem to be loading fine.

    Help will be appreciated here.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @ourdigitech ,

It seems like Dynamic CSS is not saving from the editor and it is not loaded on the frontend. Can you please view on the console if there is any issue while saving the post on the editor?

    Best Regards!

    Hi again.

This is the screenshot of the error message I get when loading and then saving the post.

I must mention, no such problem happens when I tried other Gutenburg based page editor plugins on the site.

    Hello @ourdigitech ,

It seems like the REST API of Gutentor not working on your site. It may be due to the setting on the others Plugins(especially cache), Nginx server, or Cloudflare. If the rest API does not work on your site the plugin couldn’t function properly.

    Here are few tips:

    • On Cloudflare enable development mode and purge cache and check if this works.
    • Search about Nginx setting to work REST API properly
    • Disable plugin one by one and see if the issue is fixed

    Hi again @codersantosh .

We finally found the problem. I really thank the server admin for helping me out with this. The problem seems to be on the plugin side and you need to look into it.

    – We tried disabling all plugins but it did not work.

    – We tried development mode in Cloudflare, cleared the cache. Still did not work.

    – We checked REST API, it was enabled properly. But the problem was still there.

    Then we found the problem.

Thing is, we use a custom Permalink settings. In it, we arranged links by category and then by post name. When saving a page in custom permalink. It did not load the Gutentor Featured Post Type.

However, when changing the Permalink Settings to just Plain. Then creating a new post in Gutentor Featured Post Type, the widget loads completely fine after saving it.

That created page works fine even after switching back to custom permalink. So the problem seems to be, permalink structure during saving the page, not during opening it.

So my request is, can you look into why this plugin is not working working properly in Custom permalink structure and please fix it.

    Hello @ourdigitech ,

    Thanks for the information.
I am happy to know finally the issue has been fixed on your end.
I quickly search for the solution but it seems like it is not plugin fault but somehow related to permalinks settings as you mentioned. But we always welcome anyone solution without setting permalinks.

    Best Regards!
