‘Post Types / Singles’ Carry Over Settings?
-
?? Hello, the Freesouls Plugin is fantastic – it’s an amazing operational tool and such a great implementation of your concept! Well done and thank you for making this available to the WordPress community.
My Question (& Request):
Is it possible for a future release to enable carrying over settings from ‘(Global) Post Types / Singles (Overrides)’ on the ‘Add New Post‘ & ‘Edit Post’ Backend Pages? This request comes from a ‘Workflow-Optimization’ perspective.
Illustrative Point:
When a user has navigated to the ‘Edit Post’ backend page for a specific post and chooses to optimize the plugins by switching from ‘Post Types’ to ‘ Singles’ – the default behavior for Freesouls is to return all Plugins to their Activated status.Current Workflow (Can Be Taxing on User):
- Switch from ‘Post Types’ to ‘Singles’; all settings reset.
- User must recall Active / Inactive settings from ‘Post Types’.
- Re-enter the Active / Inactive settings for ‘Singles’ Mode.
- Modify Active / Inactive settings for this specific page.
Workflow Request / Suggestion:
- Switch from ‘Post Types’ to ‘Singles’; settings carry over.
- User modifies Active / Inactive settings. Easy-Fast-Done.
