Just updated to current version of WC (can’t remember which exact version I was on previously but can find out if needed).

Immediately noticed redundant data in the order details information coming from variations.

For example, a t-shirt product would look like this as a line item in the order details. Neat, on one line, including the title and variation.

    T-Shirt – XL (#87284450-04)

Now, after updating WC, it looks this:

    T-Shirt – XL (#87284450-04)
    – Size:
    XL

It looks strange and just adds clutter/redundant information to the order details email.

Can someone point me in the right direction to remove this additional information that has now been added after updating WC?

    Best.

    Hello @hyp0xia,

    Thank you for reaching out!

Here’s how the attribute is added on my test site using the latest version of WooCommerce. :?)

Could you please attach a copy of your site’s System Status report? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support” (after you scroll down a bit)”. Once done, please paste it here in your reply or via a text-sharing service like https://gist.github.com/.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

Yes! That’s the new attribute data that is added to our emails.. which is now in addition to the same attribute data that is already included in the item title in the email. I would like to remove the attributes from the product data that you have highlighted in your screenshot.

    Hi there @hyp0xia

Thank you for sharing your status report. This issue was reported here a long ago https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/32854

However, I am unable to replicate this on the latest version of WooCommerce. Are you able to share a few screenshots showing:

    • Your Product’s Variation settings
    • Your Product’s Attributes settings
    • Confirm if you’ve used custom attributes or global attributes under (Products > Attributes)
    • Confirm if you are able to replicate it on a default theme like 2022 and only WooCommerce active.
