Post View Count Feature Request

Probably because this is something that does belong in a plugin.

Not all ideas show up in core and a statistics plugin like that has been done many times.

Let me focus more to the point which i meant to say. I am not talking about the whole stat function to be included in the core but a view count column in the All Post Section. For e.g. we see it in the blogger inbuilt stats which so up total number of view for individual posts and pages.

That functionality is best applied via a plugin. If it reaches a critical mass request wise then it may get considered as a featured plugin. But for now that add-on remains in plugin space.

Firstly, I am not talking about that plugin to be in core, I was only giving the photo link to show what I was really talking about.

I was giving my point regarding, including the view count column like in blogger so there is no need to use plugin to show it.
