Post views are not counted correctly

  • Hi, after the last update, post views started to count incorrectly.

    I usually have about 1500 post views per day. And atm in admin panel your plugin shows 46 views (in my time zone the day will end in 5.5 hours).

    Please, fix it. Thank you.

  • Hi, same issue for me. Nest last update the counter not working. I try the 3 options (PHP, JS, Rest APi) it’s the same… :-((

    Yeah, I had to return to previous version of this plugin in order to fix it.

    It is possible that the reason for that is lack of Fast Ajax method. This is the way of counting the view we had to remove from the plugin due to some “very strinct” WordPress plugin guidance.

    So untill we introduce a PVC addon please use the 1.3.9 release or lower. The upcoming addon will bring back the Fast Ajax method and number of other improvements.

    But I’ve always used JavaScript method, not Fast Ajax.

    And I’ve just updated plugin to 1.3.11. Not enough time passed to see if it counts correctly, but I have a feeling, that it still lowers post views count.
