    Hello again.

I was trying to help out an umbrella organisation of all non-profit organisations in my state. What we wanted to do is allow all organisations that are registered with us the ability to register volunteer opportunities direct from our site or a way we can gather all this opportunities from their site and aggregate it on our site.

Is there an easy way to do this? Would you kindly give me ideas on how to achieve this and i will see if i can read up about it.

    Thanks in advance.

This is a tough one @en18zone. The easiest way to allow others to register volunteer opportunities is create accounts for each of them on your website, then give them enough permissions to be able to create volunteer opportunities.

If you can’t or don’t want to give each one a WordPress account for the site, the next best option is to create a form on your site which automatically creates a volunteer opportunity when submitted. This is not easy by any means, but is possible. I’d suggest a combination of Gravity Forms along with the Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types plugin. These plugins will allow you to set up the form and map it directly. Unfortunately, this will require you to understand the code for the volunteer management plugin since you’ll need to pull the name of the custom post type and the custom fields.

I’m sorry I don’t have a simpler option for you, but hopefully this is still helpful. Please let me know what other questions you have.

Thanks very much for the reply and for the ideas.

I will start with creating accounts for them and hopefully learn how to use wpcf7 together with this plugin.

Thanks again and have a good day.

No problem at all. Let me know if any other questions come up.
