Post, vote and aprooval by users

  • Hi Everyone,

    I′ve been searching for a while but haven′t found anything. I′m looking for a plugin that lets users post entries that show up in a different section viewable by all users where they can vote up or down such entries and be it manual or automatic admins then choose the top x number of posts and move them/post them on the main page. A bit like https://icanhas.cheezburger.com/ does in order to allow users to send in picture and vote them in to the main site. Currently we′re using user submited posts and this works fine but we′d like to allow users to vote what they′d like to make it to the website as we get way to many submissions and not all of them are good.

    I′ve seen this done on blogger (cuantocabron.com does it, a spanish website).

  • I guess what you’re describing is also something similar to 9gag website, the old digg or reddit. I think you would need a theme that already does that.
    This seems to be one of the most popular ones, but it’s a bit expensive:

    I found this plugin also https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/vote-it-up/
    but it looks very old, not sure it still works.

    Thanks for the reply first of all : )

    The problem is that neither of those does what I want as both would most likely require the admins to aproove the posts and they′d still go to the main page, they seem to be more focused on post positions than post voting in order to aproove them, if that makes sense?

    So no one knows of this kind of plugin? Shame, I figured due to many websites that use this kind of functionality something would exist ??
