Post widget not displaying image

    Hi, I am using the free version and have a question regarding the post widget on the frontpage. Should it automatically show an image from the post in the widget in layout 1? At the moment, it has a faint pic icon and the text and the box will light up when you hover over it. Could you help please?

    It’s default image for posts with no featured image. Just go to Dashboard -> Posts, select the post and set a featured image.
