What does the future for tablepress look like after post wordpress 5 table feature inbuilt.
What more can tablepress offer in terms of differentiative customized needs ?
We are interested to know and personally we would look out for customizing individual tables without the need for working with CSS. Moreover we would be grateful if there exists some feature to actually modify and tailor the need of particular table rather than the plugin options column which holds good for all tables.

We love this plugin and continue to support
    Thanks

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

That’s a rather philosophical question ?? TablePress still offers many more features, like the JS functions, Extensions, re-usability of tables, etc.

I do have many ideas for the future, but as I’m doing this all by myself as a hobby besides a regular day job and family responsibilities, things don’t go too fast at the moment. Some ideas are for example to completely rewrite the “Edit” screen to make it faster and give it more features. I also want to add a Gutenberg block to the plugin to be able to use that in posts and pages.

    Regards,
    Tobias
