post_date format help?

  • Hi,

    I’ve managed to import my csv file in successfully, but the post_date column isn’t working. All the dates in WordPress for each post were set to January 1, 1970. I’ve tried various formats and even copied and pasted from the sample csv file, but I can’t seem to get it working. They’re most future dates, so the post_status is either published or future depending.

    Formats I’ve tried:
    22/12/16 9:00
    22/12/2016
    13/09/13 0:00 (sample.csv format)
    2016/12/22
    12/22/16

    Any ideas?

    I used m/d/yyyy h:mm and it worked for me. I would select the whole column and format that column to be a ‘custom’ field and type in m/d/yyyy h:mm and then ok.

    But I wasn’t able to upload one that were ‘scheduled’ for a future date. But I was able to upload them as ‘pending’ and then you can quick edit or bulk edit them to be a different date.
