Hello friends, great plugin but the argument post_type is not running for me…

    This is my shortcode [netsposts include_blog=”5″ titles_only=”false” post_type=”listing” show_author=”false” thumbnail=”true” size=”90,90″ image_class=”alignleft” auto_excerpt=”true” excerpt_length=”150″ show_author=”false” paginate=”true” list=”10″]

I tried with ‘page’ and other post_types but it did not work either, it does not work with any post_type other than the default.

    Could you help me???

posty_type= is good only for post or page. Try taxonomy=”listing”

If I’m guessing right “listing” isn’t a post but a category. So your shortcode will look like this.

    [netsposts include_blog=”5″ titles_only=”false” post_type=”post” taxonomy=”listing” show_author=”false” thumbnail=”true” size=”90,90″ image_class=”alignleft” auto_excerpt=”true” excerpt_length=”150″ show_author=”false” paginate=”true” list=”10″]

If it is on a page with the parent page being “listing” then it won’t work since it treats all pages the same.

Hello John, ‘listing’ is a post_type for me. I have two post custom types: listing and event. I’m not using current posts.

    Thank you for your response.

Okay. I’ll see if I can make it a feature on the next update.
