If I understand your doubt correctly, I think you want to place postage & actual place for a particular auction. (let me know if I misunderstood).

This plugin basically lets you specify payment method via paypal, wire-transfer or mailing address.

Now, for wire-transfer or mailing address, the only functionality that plugin offers is to choose a payment method for an auction & then when the bidding process is over, it sends an email to final bidder with your wire-transfer/mailing address details.

Auction owner & winning bidder can then take it offline on how to deliver the package & money.

Hi, the main thing is adding postage, so I want to display in the listing that the item is say ￡1.99 and the postage is ￡2.99 and then payment will be taken for 4.98 unless the pick up option has been chosen.

Can i do this? Is it possible you can add it if not as this is the only thing I would need other than what youi already have on it.

It does not have this provision but I think you can mention it in the “description” section.

yes, shipping cost. So that you don’t need to mention it in description and the totl item plus shipping goes through to paypal but also give the winner choise of shipping or pick up ( free )

example:

item = ￡20.00
shipping = ￡5

Winners total options:
Local pick up total = ￡20.00
With Postage = ￡25.00

Whichever option they choose that total goes through to p[aypal for them to change.

I was reading this thread as postage is something I would like to see as well, have you added this yet or is this a feature you are still working on for the future.

Postage is in my to-do list. I haven’t started working on it but will soon do it. Btw, could you give me a usecase such as above for your postage feature? It’ll give clarity.

I would like to be able to add a postage cost to each auction and then the winner of the auction would pay both the item price plus listed postage, like eBay does

eg:
——————————-
Item 1 $3.00
Postage $7.00

Winner will pay $10

——————————-
——————————-
Item 2 $3.00
Postage #3.00

Winner will pay $6.00
——————————-

I would really be interested in this too. I run a charity auction and would like for the winner to pay the extra shipping charges so that it doesn’t come out of the donation item price.

Great job on the plugin, I too would like to add the functionality of having a postage option much the same as Ebay would offer. How far along in the development is this as this will be the deciding factor for me purchasing the pro package.
