You may need to let WP regenerate your .htaccess.
    Read https://dre.im/if-pages-return-a-404-after-wordpress-3-1-upgrade

Plugins cause this too. Especially anything screwing around with permalinks or rewrites. Simple Tags has known to have issues.

i can’t find the .htaccess file on the root folder…

where can it be found if not in there?

    Thread Starter Downtuga.net

    (@downtuganet)

    okey found it… didn’t resolve it either…

    more sugestions?

    I probably need to be a litle more specific… i don’t get any error…

the problem that i have is that if i clic on any “more” button, the link on the browser apears correct, but it goes to the home page… if i click on any page or any category it does the same thing…

I erased the .htaccess and refresh and i got the 404 error as sayd, and save the permalinks and got the same problem… i did this with all the plugins deactivated…

Have you tried switching to the Twenty Ten theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

Make sure you check to make sure you disabled all plugins. In 3.1, it paginates our WordPress plugins so, if you had a lot, the culprit plugin may be on page 2. Specifically, if you have the Simple Tags plugin, make sure it is disabled or, in settings for it, uncheck the first option. Other than that, I’m not sure what to say. WP 3.1 brought a lot of cool new features and also headaches for many people.

    Well as i sayd… i had all plugins deactivated…

So i guess i am one of those people with headaches….

    New theme here i go…
