• Hi, Can anyone help me please?

I have input my postcodes and selected Postcode shipping as the default option in shipping in Woocommerce, but in my cart Shipping & Handling shows this message instead of the dropdown options: “There doesn‘t seem to be any available shipping methods. Please double check your address, or contact us if you need any help.”

Calculate Shipping appears below the sub-total for the goods, but even when I input the details it still doesn’t add the shipping cost to the total.

You can experience the process here and see the problem: https://lucyslogs.co.uk/shop-2/

    Anyone got any ideas please?

    Thanks

    Hi Rizwan,

Can you help please, the plugin simply isn’t working at all as there are no shipping or handling options available.
    Please see:

I’ve enclosed a updated screen of the settings.

    Thanks
    Phil

    Hi there,

I’ve installed this plugin and it appears not to be working at all with WordPress v4.0.

I have tried all of the suggestions for setting up UK postcode ranges, and even if I try one single postcode (in my case BH4 1AA), the shipping method isn’t displayed in the front end.

Does this plugin only work with USA postcode/zips since they are just integer-based?

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Thanks
    Steve

    Hello Phil,

    Hi Rizwan,
That’s amazing because on my Apple iMac it doesn’t work at all.

Are there any known bugs with Apple or with Firefox or Safari?

Thanks for your help much appreciated.
If we get this sorted I will gladly donate to your plugin.

    Regards Phil

Sorry to intrude on your conversation Phil and Rizwan, but when I tried on my own site and on Phil’s site to enter “BL1” as a postcode it just triggers a validation error since that isn’t a valid UK postcode (it’s incomplete).

I’m intrigued to know how you got around this Rizwan, and are you telling us that this will only work if the customer enters the first half of their postcode? In this case your plugin clearly doesn’t work for UK sites. I can guaranteed that all customers would not enter half their postcode, but a full postcode (eg. BL1 2AB).

Do you intend to provide a working plugin? If so I would also consider donating to your plugin to help get it working correctly.

Hi Steve, no probs mate, we appear to have the same issue.

Hi Rizwan also in the Cart screen when it shows the Calculate Shipping option, it simply does not work. I typed in M16 and the message said it wasn’t a valid postcode, but whenI typed in M16 8DW the message to.d me there were no shipping options available.

Can you help please as this would be extremely frustrating for any user wishing to buy a product from the site and would result in customers being turned away.

    Thanks Phil

    Hi stayawakesteve

I’ve moved onto a different plug-in called Table Rate Plus by https://www.mangohour.com
You need to full version (only $25) but it works well for UK postcodes.

Hope this helps you and your client.

    Hi Phil,

I am having problems trying to define shipping from the US to Canada because Canada uses alphanumeric post codes (similar to the UK).

I tried the Table Rate Plugin you recommended… but I don’t see the postcode option anywhere… Is it possible to use alphanumeric postcodes at all?

    Many thanks!!!

    Hi Luiz,
Have you purchased the Table Rate Plus version or are you using the free download?
You will need the Plus version to set it up properly.

Let me know. I’m away from my desk right now but if it can wait I can send you step by step instructions tomorrow morning UK time if that’s ok?

    Regards
    Phil

    Hi Phil,

Thanks for the reply. I am using the free download version… I asked them if it would work with the Canadian postcode system and if the answer is yes, I will buy the full version.

If I need further help, I’ll let you know!

    Regards,

    Luiz
