'Posted on' problems

  • Thank you for the beautiful theme, and I am learning a lot by adjusting it to my needs.

    I would like to change the meta info so that it only has the date, like: 2016.01.21

    problem 1:
    the date I posted on (really) and the backdated date are appearing at the same time. why is this??

    problem 2:
    I cannot find in the php code where the ‘Posted on’ meta code is placed?

    OI am often confused and clueless, but I have looked everywhere (i think) for this

    You will find Posted on in main theme’s folder -> inc -> template-tags.php file.

    Note: Please customize files of child theme, so your changes will not overwrite on theme update.
