2. When trying to save the poster image do you see any console errors?

I have submitted the form per request regarding my site health. I see you were able to replicate the issue and acknowledge this report has been additionally reported as likewise in this thread.

I don’t have any console errors when saving the poster image. It just reverts back to what was. I am able to update the story itself and see those updated changes, it’s just the poster image will not update.

Please keep me updated on steps to move forward and how close we are to resolve. Thank you.

@shancock17 Apologies for the delay in my response. We have tested a fix for this and plan to release this at some point this week. As soon as the new version becomes available I will update this topic to let you know.

@shancock17 We have just released version 1.23.1 of the plugin which addresses the issue with the poster image. Please could you update to the latest version and confirm this fixes the issue for you.

Hi. I’ve updated the plugin and the problem still persists. I am able to save the poster image in the editor, but when published the poster image in my web stories dashboard reverts to the old. Please advise.

I’ve found the same issue. Looks fine until published and then reverts to the old image.

Having read other threads it looks like the archives poster image stays put. It’s in the dashboard that it’s reverting to the old image.

@shancock17 Thanks for the update. We have been able to replicate this and are continuing to investigate the issue. We will aim to get another release out as soon as we can. I will provide updates here when I have them.

We are having the same issue, inability to save the poster image, pre and post the latest web stories update. Thanks in advance for the continued investigation of this issue.

Same issue and using most up to date version of the plugin.
