Poster image won’t save

    I’ve been trying to save a new poster image on this drafted story and it won’t save. I’ve tried multiple browsers and it’s still not working. I upload the image, crop it, and then it loads. When I click the save button, it reverts back to what was. Please help.

  • Hello again. Any update on this issue? We have upcoming deadlines for content submissions with Web Stories, and were just wondering if the Poster image issue has an eta to be fixed. Thanks in advance for the help.

    @rochellemariah @shancock17 @evedawes Could you please try installing this current development version of the plugin to confirm the poster image fix?

    1. Click on this plugin link to download as a ZIP file
    2. Upload it to your WordPress site and activate it there by following these steps:
    – Go to Plugins > Add New > Upload plugin > Choose file > Install Now > Replace Current with Uploaded (here is an example screenshot)

    We plan on releasing a new release shortly with this fix if it works as intended.

    Hello everyone, thank you very much for your patience and for confirming! Just wanted to quickly update you that we’ve recently released an updated version of the Web Stories plugin (v1.23.2) which includes the fix mentioned above.
