posterous import from wordpress.com blog to www.ads-software.com self-hosted site
-
Hi there! I have and xml file from my wordpress.com blog, which I need to import my www.ads-software.com self-hosted site. Everytime I’ve tried to upload it, I got the following error:
File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.
Then, I’ve checked my xml file (1.01MB) and it is not empty, my php_info().. and find out that memory_limit = 64M, upload_max_filesize = 8M, post_max_size = 8M and file_uploads = On, which are the variables wordpress error tell me to verify.
I have also created a php.ini file increasing those values and incluiding it to the following folders:
– html root
– wp-admin
– wp-content
– wp-content/plugins
– wp-content/plugins/wordpress-importerBut still nothing… Can anyone can help me to check if my file is correct or point to a helpful solution??
Thanks!
