• Would appreciate any feedback, criticisms, etc. for my new WordPress weblog:

    posterwire.com

Posterwire.com is a movie poster weblog. It is also my first WordPress weblog AND first table-free all CSS site. (Whew.)

Anyway, appreciate any feedback. (Since I’m on a Mac, any PC browser issue info is useful — making it work with IE 6 has been a struggle.)

  • Wow, looks good. I’m usually not big on those type of large background images, but in this case, its really good looking. The entire site just ‘works’. It also looks good in IE and FF on a PC.

jporadek: Thanks, I appreciate the kind words. ??

I’m glad it seems to be working in IE and FF on the PC. Although, I’m sure the fixed background image in the entries isn’t working quite right since IE 6 doesn’t know how to handle fixed image backgrounds (it insists on scrolling them) in divs. Let me know if you see any glitches or other gotchas.

I agree; A nice design but much more importantly for me, good content. Well done on creating a useful resource for a much needed niche!

My calendar this year is a movie poster calendar and your Attack of the 50 ft. Woman is December. Cool idea.

    Nice, very nice!
Works well in (all Mac version) FF, Safari, Opera and IE.
    I’m really impressed. Good job!
It’s a shame that you didn’t enter the theme competition.

Did I hear you say good CONTENT?

    Get yourself over to https://shadows.os42.com/2005/03/09/content-is-everything/

You may have missed the THEME competition but you are not too late for the CONTENT ??

Yes, very nice! I like the background and the shadows!!
