Postie Creates Blank Post

    Postie creates blank posts. i tried running a debug and i get this :

    Date: 2015-07-22 13:45:31
    Category: 1
    Ping Status: open
    Comment Status: open
    Subject: July 22: Retail & Ops jobs; upcoming events; have a say on gfee levels; the cost of enforcement actions inc. one against an AMC
    Postname: july-22-retail-upcoming-events-have-a-say-on-gfee-levels-the-cost-of-enforcement-actions-inc-one-against-an-amc
    Post Id: 0
    Post Type: post

    and as you can see the post id is 0. Is there something wrong in my config? thanks

    Post Id: 0 indicated that something serious went wrong when Postie tried insert the post (wp_insert_post).

    Can you create a post in the usual way?

    ahh yeah right.. i cant create a new post. hmm there is an error cannot create default object from empty value in post.php do you know how to fix this?

    I would start by reinstalling WordPress.
