Postie Deleted all my mails

    Hello,

    i have setup postie too many times before on different websites, working great.

    on the last website i use postie to get specific emails that are from specific sender, these emails saved into specific folder called (facebook), i let postie do its job.

    suddenly i found that postie deleted all my mails except the one from sender, the mails from the sender still exist in its folder, any other mail has been deleted, i can’t even find it in deleted folder.

    how can i make postie only check the emails from specific sender and delete only these emails and leave the rest intact ?

    I had the same problem.
    I am using an unique email adress for it.

    Maybe you can control with “Maximum number of emails to process ” param

    The short answer is “you can’t” however there are some options.

    You can turn off deleting of email With the Delete email after posting setting. Depending on you email server you may or may not get the same emails over and over again if you don’t delete them.
