    Hi Postie,
Great Plugin so far!!!!! I have a question. My client has a fairly complex Newsletter(Images, Tables, different formattings, etc.).
I’ve been able to address most of the issues either by pre-processing or with CSS. The result is that the Newsletter is RESPONSIVE
PRE POSTIE processing & POST POSTIE processing.

My client uses MailChimp. I have the RSS Post processing set up in MailChimp to process their new Newsletter posts mentioned above. The problem is that once MailChimp sends out the Mass mailing, the email it sends is NOT Responsive any longer. I have a feeling that either MailChimp is not processing the images properly thus making it NOT Responsive or there is some other issue like not recognizing CSS or something.

Anyway, I was looking at your Newsletter Fixer AddOn and am looking to purchase. Does this AddOn address issues like this? Or, do you have another resolution?

    Thanks!!!!

    Sincerely,
    wpallweb

The newsletter fixer essentially tries to create a localized version of your CSS such that it overrides anything in your theme.

There are too many variables for me to give you a definitive answer. Trying it is likely the only way forward.

Thanks for responding. Okay, I’ll give it a try.

    Questions:
    1. So, is this addon a pre-processor, meaning that it will modify/massage the data as it’s creating the POST?

    2. Does it do anything as to optimizing/normalizing the images in the DataStream? I was reading something regarding mailchimp and they recommend that you insert their image block for images when creating Newsletters(eMails) to ensure your email will be Responsive. I’m not creating the ORIGINAL Newsletter with MailChimp so this does not apply to my case. But, I was wondering if your AddOn does anything in this regard or, if it turns out I need to somehow modify the image wrappers, does your AddOn have the flexibility to add some pre=processing code to accomplish this if needed?

    Thanks,

Not really. It mostly tries to create an element that isolates the CSS from the email.

The images depend on if they are internal to the email or external.

Okay, I’m going to see if I can apply some CSS to the images if possible to normalize them for mailchimp. I’m not sure if it’ll work but if it does, I can then use your AddOn which I’m assuming will add instream CSS.
